Management Team:
Salvatore Cicalese III, President and CEO
Mr. Cicalese launched Edison Companies in 2008 with the goal of profiting his customers and simultaneously saving the environment through conservation and generation of clean electric power. Mr. Cicalese is a highly experienced professional manager who specialized in "big box" operations. After his tenure with a nationally recognized home improvement chain, Mr. Cicalese co-founded a construction and remodeling company serving as principal designer and project manager. Demand for "green" construction and alternative energy solutions increased and quickly dominated all other projects, leading directly to the incorporation of Edison Companies and its three subsidiaries, Edison Energy Consultants, Edison Solar Power Corporation and Edison Energy.
With his extensive management experience and hands-on construction and development skills, Mr. Cicalese is uniquely positioned to lead Edison Companies to the benefit of clients who seek environmentally responsible use of energy resources with associated cost-savings.
William R. "Bob" Scarlott, COO / Vice President of Operations
Mr. Scarlott comes to Edison Companies with over four decades of military, government and private sector service. From his decorated service in Vietnam, through his days as a County and City Police Officer and on to his management of private and government transportation services, Mr. Scarlott has always navigated complex bureaucratic channels to the benefit of those in his charge. Mr. Scarlott continues in that capacity today at Edison Companies, making certain that all projects of Edison Companies are in compliance with appropriate guidelines and that our clients benefit from all applicable government and private incentives.
In 2005 & 2008, Mr. Scarlott graduated Magnum Cum Laude from Burlington County College with an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Cum Laude from the Rutgers-Camden University School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, both while working full-time as the Assistant Transportation Coordinator for the County of Burlington, NJ. He is currently a Certified Community Transportation Manager (CCTM) through the Community Transportation Association of America and has dedicated his career to finding alternative means of transportation designed to reduce the number of single occupancy vehicles operating on our roadways.
Mr. Scarlott has had the distinct honor of serving on the boards of Cross County Connection Transportation Management Association and the NJ Council on Special Transportation.
Christopher A. Conners, Vice President of Sales
Mr. Conners brings an exceptional set of skills to Edison Companies. His proven success in Sales Leadership, Training/Motivation, and Residential Finance positions him perfectly to educate Edison Companies' customers about the multitude of cost-savings energy options now available. Mr. Conners has successfully lead and mentored teams of sales professionals and implemented marketing strategies and production techniques that regularly delivered returns that were far above expectations. While leading a loan finance team at a national mortgage banker, Mr. Conners put in place a program to ensure that all customers derived true and lasting benefits from their loans and in so doing, his team increased both sales volume and customer satisfaction.
To this day, Mr. Conners dedicates a significant portion of his time to teaching inner city special needs children the motor-skills, speaking and writing abilities they need to survive.
